Calinos Entertainment has signed an exclusive broadcast deal with Mediaset Italy for the Turkish dramas Woman and Forbidden Fruit.

Woman, adapted from the Japanese series Woman: My Life for My Children, follows Bahar, a young widow and mother of two, as she navigates life’s challenges with courage. The Turkish adaptation is produced by Medyapım and MF Yapım.

The Turkish drama stars Özge Özpirinçci, Caner Cindoruk, Feyyaz Duman, Bennu Yıldırımlar, Seray Kaya, Şerif Erol, Gökçe Eyüboğlu and Ahu Yağtu.

Forbidden Fruit, also produced by Medyapım, centers on two sisters whose dreams and ambitions lead them down very different paths. Yıldız wants wealth and status, while Zeynep is determined to build her own career. Their lives take a turn when Yıldız becomes entangled in a high-society divorce, sparking a rivalry with the scorned ex-wife.

Forbidden Fruit’s cast includes Sevval Sam, Eda Ece, Sevda Erginci, Murat Aygen, Biran Damla Yılmaz, Şebnem Dönmez, Talat Bulut, Nesrin Cavadzade, Berk Oktay and Onur Tuna.

Both dramas initially aired in Turkey on NOW.

“This collaboration marks another milestone in our mission to bring the finest Turkish dramas to audiences across the globe,” said Goryana Vasileva, sales manager at Calinos Entertainment. “We are incredibly proud to distribute Woman and Forbidden Fruit, two stories that transcend cultural boundaries and resonate deeply with viewers everywhere. Partnering with Mediaset Italy allows us to share these unforgettable narratives with Italian audiences, further solidifying the global appeal of Turkish storytelling.”
