    Edit: Forgot to add, but as a rural Canadian who has been through several major power outages in the past two years IN WINTER due to varying factors (the weather/environmental conditions getting so cold that a transformer blows/dumbass driving into a power pole below my house)—you do not want to fuck with a country that supplies you with cheap and affordable power. You’d be surprised how antsy and pissed people get when their electricity goes out, especially for places where spring might not necessarily touch yet. Don’t bite the hand that feeds you, especially because they can make the consequences a WHOLE lot worse.
