  1. Mintis tinkama, kad Europai reikia susiimti ir patiems pasirūpinti savo gynyba, bet žodžiai visiškai netinkamai parinkti.

  2. Jaučiasi JAV š* laižymas su tokiais jos pasakymais. 🙂

  3. Socdemai prieš didesnius NT mokesčius, matote gi pensininkai apsiverks, degalų akcizo pakėlimas nepasiteisino. Tai iš kur tie pinigai gynybai?

  4. We do not owe a single dime to the US… They didn’t spend a penny on our defense as we didn’t have any conflicts where we should be protected. But vise versa only US has activated article 5 and we sent our troops to help them. Luckily us Lithuanians weren’t killed there, but if we would check the EU there were 275 KIO from EU countries…

But let’s get back to Lithuanian: Since 2003, Lithuania has deployed at least 600–800 troops across various U.S.-led missions, mainly in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Kosovo.

And guess how many Americans participated in Lithuanian driven conflicts?

So about what kind of debt she is talking? We owe nothing to America. Someone will say, but the US military is here. I would say we pay our share for that, so the US is getting discounted military bases in Lithuania.

So saying that is wrong. But saying that we lived too long and too easy under the US protection umbrella would be correct. And that we spent too little to our own protection would be correct. And that we should increase spending on our defense more (but again, spending means investing in Military industry, not just buying things from the US).

  5. Gerai ten viska pasnejejo, istraukia viena sakini is viso interviu ir bando formuot neigiama nuomone.

  6. Security is the service where leeching makes the most sense. If someone else is paying for it you can save your money. USA spent a lot of money on that and allowed others to piggyback on it, no one would threaten the allies of USA knowing who their big brother is. They did it for their own benefit, but the fact remains that those in Europe took this opportunity to redirect their economies more towards social needs. Now when priorities of USA change this side effect that allowed countries to ignore geopolitical threats will vanish.
