#ManUtd: First glimpse at plans for new 100,000-seat #stadium • FRANCE 24 English
#ManchesterUnited on Tuesday announced plans to build a new 100,000-capacity #stadium, set to be the biggest in Britain, next to their current #OldTrafford ground. Built at a cost of around £2 billion ($2.6 billion) with a projected timescale of five years, the new ground would feature three masts described as “Trident”, stretching 200 metres high and visible from 40 kilometres (25 miles) away. Old Trafford, the club’s home since 1910, has faced growing criticism in recent years for a range of issues, including a leaking roof and substandard facilities.
