22. Not many people realize we are obligated to defend Ukraine. They signed away their nuclear armaments for protection. This shouldn’t be a PR stunt.

23. Too late, trust already destroyed, now Ukraine are gonna be constantly worrying if info they share with the U. S. is going straight into Kremlin hands. Takes decades to build trust between nations and only days to break it.

24. Security assistance boils down to our spies talking to their spies. At this point, if I were a Ukrainian intelligence person, I would NOT trust any Intel the US gave me. This whole thing looks like:

    “Hold up, Ukraine. Gimme a minute.”

    <goes off in a corner with Russia for a few hours.>

    “Ok, cool. What did you want to know, buddy?”

27. I’d assume that any intelligence the US is generating over in Ukraine is compromised and known by the Russians by now.
