  1. The statement said the U.S. “will immediately lift the pause on intelligence sharing and resume security assistance to Ukraine,”

  2. Why? It only serves to give Russia needed time to do shit and they’ll violate it anyways

  3. As if Russia will stick to it. And even if they will only use it to prepare more atrocities…

  4. The lack of pragmatism on Reddit surrounding Ukraine is unreal. I don’t agree with Trump but they’ve been right on a lot here. Ukraine is not going to get that land back, NATO is not going to happen. Something else has to happen and nobody is going to be happy with the results. Nothing outside of Regime change was going to change that dynamic and Reddit insisting it’s just around the corner for years now is delusional.

I support Ukraine but pulling some support and talking about some relief for Russia has brought up a middle ground. Hell even the Europe drama has them actually doing exactly what we’ve been asking for decades…actually invest in self defense.

I must have upset EU…bring on the downvotes baby! Just being a realist.

Come on let’s get the down votes to triple digits!

  5. Don’t like the move. Allows orcs to re-up the lines. Glad the intelligence issue will resume, though.

  6. Don’t do it, Ukraine, unless Russia is forced to freeze troop and logistics movements

  7. I think it really is too soon to say anything definitive here. There is a good chance Russia declines/breaks the ceasefire which would help turn the world/public opinion more in Ukraine’s favor.

  8. Considering the Russians are kicking some serious ass in Kursk region and doing fairly well in other regions of this TOO, I wonder which conditions US delegation will be offering at their talks in Moscow. There is zero benefit for the Russians to agree for a ceasefire right now.

  9. Honestly, this may be a very good opportunity for Ukraine to show that Russia does not respect ceasefires, and if anyone needs a temporary ceasefire, it’d be Ukraine. I know people are afraid of what Russia does with that time, but USA is creating such a boat load of logistical issues for Ukraine, this may be a good time for them to reset and restructure their defending lines, I.E. digging in.

If Russia blatantly breaks a ceasefire it should be clear for the whole world to see, bringing in a storm of media coverage that should put pressure on the TV-ratings orientated delusional Trump cabinet to either respect, or feed into Russian propaganda and blame Ukraine for somehow.

It would also shift the conversation to the terms of which a complete ceasefire can be agreed upon, in which Ukraine can discuss security guarentees, and stand firm on not releasing any of their rightful land to an invading colonial power, in which they should absolutely not do in any form.

relinquishing ANY land puts your entire border at risk of a new interpretation and invasion.

  10. Anyone noticing what seems to be an army of Trump trolls in this thread?
