If anything, the Russian military is the one that needs to be demilitarized and denazified.

Here we are, the world’s biggest military force and yet we are being led by a president who licks Putin’s scrotal sack for breakfast.

To be clear – it will never be up to France or anyone else on what kind of military Ukraine has and I feel sometimes France gives a lot of “no shit” press release.
But I guess words of support are words of support at the end of the day.
France should lead a Special Peacekeeping Operation together with European allies. A million special peacekeeping troops, with the special peacekeeping hardware to back it up. And start funneling them into “special peacekeeping zones” in the middle of Ukraine, “in anticipation of” the peace deal Putin definitely does not want because his economy crashes.
Until the Special Peacekeeping Operation, Putin and Trump will keep stalling and dancing around throwing “negotiations” and “peace deal” smokebombs forever. Rhetoric costs them nothing and buys putin time. Zelenskyy understands the meta and is countering well.
As long as Europe continues the “peacekeeping only after ceasefire” posture, there will be no ceasefire. Just like “Ukraine can’t join NATO until after the war” all these years just ensured the war doesn’t end because it told Putin “don’t stop, you’ll never get this chance again”.
I know Macron, Merz, Starmer, Tusk understand this.
They have the most experienced army in Europe. Demilitarisation would be catastrophic. That army needs building upon.
