  1. Sounds like she’s going to lose this one, she was made redundant, given the statutory redundancy amount, she wants other costs covered but she has no right to them under the legislation.

  2. This shit should inspire people to organise and strike. Start discussing unionising, speak to other unionised workers and unions. Resist this nonsensical shite.

  3. >Adjudicator Úna Glazier-Farmer said she would issue her decision by email in due course to the parties.

So, the adjudicator gets to WFH? Double standards 😬

  4. 4 weeks to relocate is ridiculous. There’s a housing crisis.

  5. We need the right to work remotely, not the nonsense FF/FG ‘right to request to work remotely’.

This isn’t just a worker rights issue; with the lowest rate of disability employment in the EU, our refusal to treat remote work as a right is a disability and accessibility issue. Due to the disproportionate amount of care and house work that women do and women’s reduced ability to participate in the workforce, it is also a women’s rights and feminist issue.

Basically, everyone benefits from all of us pushing for this universal right, and it helps people with disabilities and women even more.
