Producer prices in Lithuania fell by 0.7% year-on-year in February 2025, following a downwardly revised 1.5% decline in the previous month.
This marked the second consecutive month of drop in producer prices albeit at softer pace, as prices rebounded sharply for electricity, gas, steam, and air conditioning supply (up 1.3% from -15.0%), while it decreased less for water supply, sewerage, waste management, and remediation activities (-2.5% vs. -3.3%).
In contrast, costs declined further for manufacturing (-0.9% vs 0.6% in January) and mining and quarrying (-1.7% vs -1.5%).
On a monthly basis, producer prices rose by 0.2%, slowing from a 1.3% increase in the prior month.
