“We’ve created a durable material that can withstand thousands of years. Let’s utilize it in single-use packaging and throw it away so it can continue to withstand thousands of years (polluting forests and oceans).”
The epitome of human stupidity.
awesome!
Great news.
don t understand the on-site comsumption meaning
Such a simple measure that should be implemented European wide today
There is nothing worse than paper cups.
Didn’t the EU already ban single use plastics one or two years ago?
Kinda funny how plastic was welcomed even by environmentalists as an alternative to cutting trees for paper utensils/bags/etc… and now we’re making a hard turn away from them.
Honestly, single-use anything will always have some sort of damage to the environment no matter what.
Imagine if we just used glass or ceramic like normal and made customers give a deposit, like a shopping cart with a coin deposit. Sounds silly but I’d actually love to do that lol.
