The captain of a cargo ship that collided with a U.S. tanker is a Russian national who remains in U.K. police custody, the vessel’s owner said Wednesday, as it emerged that the ship failed several safety checks last year. Fears over pollution of the sea remain, as the tankers rejected toxic products.

Odd " collision "….thank goodness they weren't carrying the deadly chemicals that were " commonly known " to be on board the vessel during other trips…..loss of life is rather tragic for a sea that was calm and the day clear…what are you going to invent?, that the vessel was stuck on auto-pilot and the Captain could not regain control……and France 24, I know you and your Staff, and Emmanuel, would like to apologize and wish Tom and I well….I'm quite certain you do….I'm NY Toms very British/Brazilian future wife MD…..4th Guardian…returning home to England in a couple of months
