  2. I know someone who was caught up in one of these, and it was devastating for years. Like most people, they asked if it was above board and were just told they are being tax smart. It’s a shame the victims pay such a heavy price whilst the perpetrators get away relatively unscathed.

  3. I think the rule is, if the scheme has been set up, purely for the avoidance of tax; they will come after you. All these companies know that.
