‘US seems to have taken over’ ceasefire talks with Hamas • FRANCE 24 English

With an agreement on the second phase of the Gaza ceasefire deal between Hamas and Israel still yet to be reached, there are signs that the US is increasingly taking control of the negotiations, reports France 24’s Noga Tarnopolsky, possibly sidelining Israel in the process. Washington has revealed it held talks with Hamas after talks between the group and Israel appeared to have reached an impasse.
