  39. There’s really no replacement product for champagne, so what would this achieve? Or does he think people who buy champagne will suddenly start buying american-made sparkling wines instead? Lol

  40. Call his bluff, US alcohol manufacturers don’t hv a large enough market domestically and many will close down if this continues.

  42. My boyfriend has a bad reaction to just about any wine made in the US due to the sulfates in the soil here. The only time he can drink wine without the reaction is if it’s made in Europe.

    It feels very bad to have your president literally try to cut you off from every other country
