I’m older than Sydney by about 12 years. He’s not particularly attractive, and the age gap is concerning. But this is all just outside looking in, none of this may matter to her personally. She could honestly love the shit out of his ugly ass. But when she has publicity to do, she seems to play up the “I might be cheating on my old ugly ass fiancé” or “we might be broken up”, to me it makes perfect sense. She wants to be seen as attainable and her fans will sigh in relief if she ever does leave him. To me it’s just publicity like the Jpop people who don’t want to be seen having a boyfriend.
