    If it really were about national security, the US could have built a dozen NATO bases if they had simply proposed the idea to Denmark. Nobody would have said no.

    And even if it were about resources, a joint US-Danish project for extraction would have convinced everyone, probably even the local population, if it had been framed correctly.

    It boggles the mind how much of a sick and small mind this disgusting orangutan has.

  25. Of all the things wrong with this, Greenland is just such a moronic target for US expansion.

    We (Denmark) signed a treaty with the US all the way back in 1951 giving them basically unlimited military access, a treaty that was reaffirmed in 2004 in a meeting between the three foreign ministers of US, Denmark, and Greenland. If the US says jump, both Denmark and Greenland says: How high? Well, at least we did before Mango Mussolini entered the White House. But probably still would now, as the small countries we are.

    If the reasoning really is national or international security as Trump claims, it does not make any sense at all. Want more surveillance there? More ships, more radar stations, more missile silos, whatever? No one is stopping you.
