  1. prepare for war, Putin will order him to do a special military operation soon

  2. Can someone more familiar with Rutte please give me some insight? I watched this presser and Rutte was not only silent on direct threats to other NATO countries, but he was actively sucking up to Trump to a cringey degree. His effusive praise was, pardon the editorializing, gross.

  3. Trump and nutlick can lick my Canadian arse. tRump won’t be in office long. Canada and NATO will outlast that walking colon.

  4. Can someone explain why he gets pissed when he started this and they reciprocate?

  5. Mum is the best option for this gobshite.

All he wants is reaction to take the headlines while he makes himself and his buddies rich and immune to prosecution…..

  6. When crazy people go off, there isn’t much to do except leave the room or let them rant.

  7. And will Americans stand by and let that happen? We’re being forced to take a stand.

  8. It must be an ordeal for world leaders to deal with Trump.

  9. Wait, so is it also an artificial line between the US and Mexico? Because he’s pretty gun-ho on returning all those people who crossed THAT “artificial” line…

Edit because of too many also’s

  10. Let me the first one on record to say, I hate this timeline. We’ve lost the way….

  11. Bonkers _____ rant basically means it’s a weekday. He golfs on the weekend

  12. The 25th Amendment provides a clear path for what happens if the president can’t continue in office, whether due to death, resignation, removal, or inability to fulfill their duties

  13. If you ever wonder how dictators or fascists come into power so easily, it’s because political leaders who have actual power to oppose them and keep them in check and save democracies are usually the biggest pussies in these scenarios and regular people have to deal with the consequences

  14. If we’re on our own, that’s fine. We may ultimately lose, that’s fine.
But we’re not going to fucking roll over.
We will defend ourselves. We will defend our allies. We will even defend our “enemies” if it’s the right thing to do.
Disappointed in everyone around us but fuck it, someone has to do the right thing.
Elbows fucking up boys. Set the fucking tone.

  15. My daily reminder that Trump supporters and the non voters are a bunch of morons who helped bring this clown show to the world

  16. Wrestling a pig is a sure loss for anyone, you’ll get dirty and the pig enjoys it.

  17. “If you look at a map, they drew an artificial line right through it, between Canada and the U.S., just a straight artificial line. Somebody did it a long time ago, many, many decades ago, and makes no sense”

Uhhh there are 192 other countries sharing land borders. Do they not make sense? Why don’t you want to merge Mexico too. SMH.

  18. He needs nothing from us apparently.

Yet he is desperate for our land.

    Go figure.

  19. I’m not sure why world leaders are even bothering to meet with him anymore at all. Is it a delaying tactic to try and get more ducks in a row before he does something REALLY stupid? Because that day is coming and we all know it.

  20. The US is not our friends.

We are only commodities to them, we canadians are a prime example.

    Take note World.

  21. You know Canadian actions are getting to him; we are not just rolling over and submitting. Rather we are using a very careful and targeted approach.

  22. The thing to remember is the SecGen is essentially a figurehead and spokesman for the Alliance. He is not a chief in a meaningful sense, he does not tell states what to do. It is very difficult for him to openly talk about things that are not agreed positions. What he says is an expression of the collective political will of the alliance. US, like every other meeting has a say on those positions so it is hard for the SecGen to confront the head of state of any Alliance member state.

  23. Never interrupt your opponent while he is in the middle of making a mistake

  24. Are there any mechanisms within congress, senate or even military to withstand a major BS order from Trump? In Germany, we have a Right to resist (Art. 20 GG), do y’all have something comparable over there?

  25. If he turns on our sister we’re running north to help defend her. Nothing will *ever* turn me against them.

  26. This is the correct approach. Give this man absolutely no fuel and let him lose his mind

  27. Every time this chucklefuck opens his mouth, we need to always play that clip from Billy Madison:

What you’ve just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.

  28. Where are the American citizens and Democrats and why are they silent about this? They come into these Reddit posts and say “I’m coming in peace” or “I didn’t vote for Trump” saying keep on boycotting us or good for you etc. But Americans are totally silent on this crazyness that affects them as well. Wtf is this shit.

We just want to be left alone and do Canadian things. This is getting beyond absurd. What will it take Americans to say something?? Even the past presidents like Obama, Biden or even Bush are silent?

  29. Well yeah because the NATO chief is a responsible politician.

It would be insane of him to unilaterally on-the-spot blabber like Trump and alienate NATO’s *eminence gris*. Sure theoretically NATO decisions are made by consensus—but practically speaking not all members are created equal.

This divorce is not going to be neat or clean.
