Pre-trial investigations in the criminal proceedings have revealed that the company failed to fully disclose the wages paid to employees in its accounting records between January 2022 and November 2024 and failed to pay taxes on the undisclosed amount.
Initial estimates suggest that more than €1.5 million in “envelope” wages were paid to employees.
The total amount of unpaid personal income tax and compulsory state social insurance contributions will be clarified during the investigation.
In March this year, as part of the criminal proceedings, the Tax and Customs Police Directorate of the VID carried out 20 searches, including at the premises, cars and residences of the companies involved in the criminal proceedings.
In the criminal proceedings, 10 persons have the right to a defense, according to the SRS. In the interest of the investigation, no further information is provided at this time.
