Hot take: Ukraine agrees to cease fire with US and then withdraws from Kursk. The idea is to make Putin really believe he’s going to win and doesn’t benefit from a cease fire. So Putin doesn’t agree. That would be impossible for Trump to spin and then Russia gets punished so Trump can save face.

Kursk operation is an example how Ukraine can operate from a position of strength and fairness.
They where chilling for half a year there and then withdraw if needed (ceasefire) to do so just to create a case and show the world the true face & intentions of the other party (Russia).
The withdrawal does not mean that Ukraine is weakened it shows that Ukraine has the upper hand and are willing to fight for their country and people in a just way.
Also any agreement or mineral deal whatever will NOT succeed if Ukraine does not either get NATO membership (cheaper version for them) or as an alternative gets their military maintained/increased so they can defend themself if Russia dares to attack again in the future.
Putin’s response to the cease fire was 100% projection saying that they’d only use it to force more conscripts to the front like and to re-arm.
