So, for ukraine, it seems better to do everything they can to stay on the good side of the US(for now) and get their military aid.
If Zelensky keeps playing the political ball back to Putin by agreeing to the US’ terms. Then, eventually, Putin has to agree to something. Whether it’s a ceasefire, peace deal, or continuing the war.
It’s what I think at least is going on.
