    So Trump wants American manufacturers to “onshore” their production and he is raising one of their largest expenses by 10%? He’s not playing 3D chess, he’s playing marbles.

    These are the same people who have been offered federal funding to expand healthcare in their states through Obamacare for 15 years, and have refused to take it. They have not suffered politically even as their “constituents” have suffered worse health outcomes. They are insulated from consequences by the vice-like grip of conservative media on the minds of 40% of Americans, who will blame this on Mexicans or trans people or whatever, and their base will gobble it up.

    Yes it would be terrible. They will still do it.
