The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces state that claims made about the “encirclement” of Ukrainian units the Kursk Oblast of Western Russia are untrue, and “created by the Russians for political purposes and pressure on Ukraine and its partners.”

4. There is no encirclement this is what I’ve been saying all along. It’s just a feint, a good strategy by Syrsky. Mark my words, come next week there will be a Kursk counter-counter offensive. Ukraine will liberate Kursk again and declare Kursk People’s Republic
