    She’s mad at Chuck because the House Dems voted en masse to block this on the expectation that the Senate Dems would as well. Chuck is making her look bad along with the rest of the House Dems.

  10. I don’t have a POV on this, as Pelosi and Schumer have points, but anything that makes Democratic leaders say something, do something, act, react, enter the conversation, etc. is preferable to the eerie quiet.

  15. The only thing I can think of that makes sense is that we don’t want to shut down the courts right now as it seems to be the only thing working. If we hand them a shutdown, guess who isn’t coming to work? Giving them an opportunity to close the courts / judicial system would be a huge mistake and I don’t trust these fucks for one second. They’ll use any excuse to take the courts out of play and this one looks like an easy off ramp
