I don’t understand why democrats can’t just be on message together:

He’s even reneged on a trade deal he signed in his first term. So, my fellow Americans, you only have Trump to blame for this economy. Democrats can’t save you, but you’ll probably be able to voice your concerns at the ballot box soon. Unless Trump takes that away too. Stay vigilant.”

I just really wish that AOC+squad, Crockett, and sanders would break off into their own party. The dems are a failed party bc all these old bureaucrats won’t step down. I know this is an oversimplified idea, but we need more parties and fresh blood in leadership!

Don’t jump in and mess with your enemy when they’re screwing up. If the Democrats decide to shut down the government, Trump might try to pin the blame for the coming recession on that. Now he’s got to own it. People from Texas to North Dakota are definitely going to be looking for someone to point fingers at when it comes to the fallout from these tariffs.

Her and Bernie need to join forces and create momentum for a third party, its clear and it has been for a while that dems are bought just like their republican counter parts.
If the Dems pass the bill, they’re giving the power of the purse to Trump and Musk. If they shut down the government, they’re giving DOGE free rein to take a wrecking ball to the federal government with no oversight as long as the shut down lasts. Neither is a good option. I don’t understand why the Dems are attacking each other like this over it. MAGA’s got them between a rock and a hard place and they’re turning on each other.
It’s because they’re generally wealthy people, and they aren’t impacted by all of this craziness the way the general public is impacted. Democrats vs. the Republicans at their level is mostly acting to keep the public divided.
The reason we failed is that democrats don’t have a “king maker” threatening other democrats not to step out of line. Which is good, meaning only principled democrats aligned with democracy will stay in line and the ones tripping over their feet to worship the alter of donald trump will meet their political end with the voters of their district.
