He’s saving lives and showing the world that one can save lives. Slava Ukraine 🇺🇦
ROTFL. Months and months of occupation, they even have to beg for help to NK, they used their troops and weapons, and they weren’t able to free their own country. What a sorry country from “Kyiv in three, four days tops”, to cheer the US forced retreat of the ZSU.
Pathetic.
Also helped get bits of tortesk back aswell plus the embarrassment for russia well as Mastercard says, that’s just priceless
“The frontlines collapsed and we had to make a messy retreat and we’re no longer able to use it as a vital barganning chip as the war draws to a close but… uh… it helped us recapture like 2.5 square km in the east so it was a victory”
Im sorry man but this is pure spin.
It would have been better if they had been able to keep it as a bargaining chip.
However, it did do a lot of damage to ruzzia.
Does ruzzia now reinforce that area, keeping troops from joining the battles inside Ukraine?
Does Ukraine use those troops to probe for another incursion somewhere else, or reinforce recent gains in Toretsk and other places?
It will be interesting to see what happens.
Slava Ukraine!
It’s a real joy to see this immediately after the post about putin going “my demand is pwease let us keep all the territory we stole while you disarm yourselves and give us a chance to rebuild :(“
I’m pro Ukraine but no it didn’t, Russian gains during and after Kursk offensive continued to increase. The Kursk offensive took some of the best equipped troops and western equipment/armour away from Ukrainian frontlines where it was needed the most
It was a gamble that had initial success but ultimately didn’t pay off. And that’s ok. But we can also recognise propaganda from both sides. Not just blindly believe everything Ukraine says.
Better this then make the mistake of Verdun.
Great stuff USA, im sure you’re happy you helped your boss(Putin) get this territory back by fucking over the victim of warcrimes for years.
Unfortunately we won’t have ASI powered ultra high fidelity simulations to see how the counter factual would have played out for a while.
But many people (on reddit and elsewhere) said Ukraine shouldn’t have even tried this. Then it was Ukraine can only hold it for a few weeks at best.
There are many variables and objectives in war. Playing pure defense MIGHT have lead to less ground lost in Ukraine. But losing less ground doesn’t help you get back territory. Holding Russian land would.
Ukraine played a great hand, Russia needed to rely on another countries regular troops to counter that. Imagine how different things could have played out if a western country also committed troops to counter the NK addition.
It obviously wasn’t perfect, but Ukraine played this well IMO. Ukraine is at disadvantage, which is made worse by western weaknesses and even worse when it’s best ally (in terms of giving them the most impactful stuff) elects someone who acts like a Russian asset.
It’s sucks the west is so selfish and afraid.
Ooff this is not a good look for Zelenksy. There are going to be a lot of bitter and angry Ukrainians who won’t forget the cost of this glorious victory.
The problem with the diverting troops argument is that it is only temporary and Russia makes up for it in the end due to their superior numbers and material. All it achieves is minor delays, which don’t end up giving Ukraine much or any benefit at all. In fact the more pronged the conflict the worse things will get for Ukraine.
There is clearly an issue with Zelenksy and his high command when it comes to long term planning and taking into account potential long term consequences of certain actions.
my neighbors son died there cuz they couldn’t evacuate him from his position. i’m amazed they held it for as long as they did considering how horrible the conditions were. whether it was a good or bad idea is hard to say.
Sad cope
Hopefully they have good use for their troops elsewhere. But it was/is a great and bold move that exposed the incapability of a regime no one wants.
I am gonna be truthfull.
Operation in Kursk did almost nothing on macro level.
That is my opinion.
Ukranian resolve has to be off the charts right now.
Fuck trump
Fuck elon
Fuck putin
I hope winning this war with an ending of beheading Pootin
Pure copium
Hey, it was never a hold at all costs. Save your people first.
Athens was invaded in ancient history. When they knew tgey couldn’t win, the Athenians left Athens. There were a lot of arguments about doing this until someone pointed *Athens* wasn’t the city, it was the people.
More you’ll let scums like OP post in here, more like r/UkraineRussiaReport will this sub become.
Even if they full pull out this is just more dilemmas for russia do the follow do the not and send the troops else where is Ukraine gonna come back
Makes you wonder if Zelensky just made an aggressive play in order to take back territory ahead of any negotiations.
Even if they are forced to fall back, its still a successful task. They don’t need to annex Kursk to consider it a success
It’s just a goodwill gesture by Ukraine. They didn’t have to do that ofc
Just like Russians did when they withdraw from Kyiv.
Near staples
Remove Ukrainian soldiers from there asap. You don’t know if that Orange clown is sharing intel… job done retreat now
> divert troops from Sumy
I don’t think withdrawal from Kursk helped this. Sumy will become their immediate target in like a month. A 200k population city is going to be destroyed.
Love football and video games 🤣🤣 maybe not as much as war posting hm?
