  1. In skiing of all things. A quick Google says that The Ireland Alpine Ski team brought home five gold medals on the day and they don’t even practice on snow.

    That’s really fucking impressive.

  4. Sorry for Hijacking this, but just to say Special Olympics are a great bunch of lads and lasses, specifically have been keen for new volunteers in the Ulster region recently. I’ve been involved for a couple of years and it’s legitimately the highlight of the week.

    Theres everything going from winter sports, football, athletics, basketball etc in spots all over the place.

    You don’t need to be sporty to be involved and they offer coaching courses for volenteers too if you do want to develop skills further. The craic is also tremendous.
