  1. At Trump’s DOJ speech today Trump made an ad-lib where he said Ukraine started the war because they “picked on somebody that’s a lot larger than them”.

    Had the news on in the background tuning out his drone, but this line caught my ear. I was surprised later that I really didn’t find any mention of this statement in American news today considering it was a repeat of misinformation he’s repeated earlier where he said Ukraine started the war, when they were, in fact, undeniably invaded.

    He tried to make Biden look bad by claiming he could end the Ukraine war in 1 day, a number he pulled out of his ass, only to find out it wasn’t possible.

    To make a promise like that was extremely stupid before negotiations were even started. It gave Russia leverage and a means of manipulating Trump.

    Trump’s last peace deal he sold out the Afghan government and betrayed the sacrifices of thousands of US military and allied soldiers. The deal included promising not to support the Afghan military, not even with air support, all but handed Afghanistan over to them in a terrible deal.

    Now he wants to do another bad deal that not only puts Ukraine at risk but also the European Union. Russia is now making demands that involve Eastern European countries and rolling back NATO. Something that previous administration knew was exceptionally dangerous and refused to entertain.
