The lower his approval ratings, the less he will have to lose, and the more desperate and emboldened he will become to end American democracy, once and for all, making future approval ratings entirely inconsequential. But for the sake of vanity, once his authoritarian regime is fully cemented, fake approval rates of 98% or greater will be manufactured.

    His approval ratings are either wrong or don’t matter. There is literally no other option. He will sit out his term *at minimum*, if he doesn’t straight up seize power *WITH approval*.

    And he will do whatever he wants. Nothing will change.

    It’s embarrassing reading stuff like this. The last time around, everyone argued and some even guaranteed he would be removed from office or ignored within 6 months.

    Why make the exact same mistake again? This is why other countries no longer trust Americans.
