Remember Build Back Better? Remember how it mysteriously ended up being broken into 2 pieces and only the corporate-friendly part passed? Well, now we know that this was done intentionally by Dem leadership.

1. This discussion between the 2 squad members who got ousted by AIPAC includes a long explanation of how BBB was tanked by the Dem leadership. Very notable is how Biden pressured the squad to vote through the corporate-friendly part of the bill, knowing that moderate Dem senators would not vote through the “human infrastructure” part of the bill (which included trillions for climate action) if it came up on its own.

   Rather than pressure the moderates to vote for a unified bill, the President and Dem leadership preferred to “bifurcate” the bill and come down hard on progressives, even though this would effectively tank what Biden had said was his “legacy” program.

   Just another lesson on who the Dems really are, and who they really answer to.
