  5. They’re not reacting because the Democrats are still stunned/shocked by the realization that the US isn’t as progressive of a country as they wish it was.

    They lost (AGAIN!) to an almost 80 year old, twice-impeached, adjudicated rapist with 34 felony convictions. The bar was set ~~pretty~~ incredibly fucking low Democrats, and they couldn’t even find enough votes to beat a total shitbag like Trump. That’s gotta leave a mark.

    No wonder they don’t know what to do now.

  6. Dems are basically at where Republicans were in 2016. A New Democratic Party will form around whoever the fuck steps up. Right now it’s Bernie (too old), walz( just lost), AOC (targeted by Fox for 5 years), and Newsom (weirdly suddenly ok with normalizing alt right, also corporate backed).

  9. Why would corporate Democrats do anything other than be controlled opposition? It’s been working for them for decades as they line their pockets with corporate/oligarch money. They still think they’re in the 80’s/90’s. Dems like Tim, Andy Beshear, AOC are not the majority of the party sadly.

  10. I’m really starting to realize that so many people who called democrats “republican lite” weren’t just being aggressive because democrats wouldn’t listen to them, it’s because they’re right! They don’t want to listen to us at all.

  13. There is nothing to stop what is going on at the federal level short of armed insurrection. Musk has data now on everyone in the US and then some. He is installing AI everywhere he can which will keep people from any kind of redress. The SCOTUS is gone, replaced by lying, cheating sycophants. Democrats who have spent their lives catering to special interest groups have been rendered impotent.

    If a civil war doesn’t happen soon, we will in fact be run by Skynet.

  16. I keep getting texts and emails asking for donations. I have yet to see any of these requests laying out what the fuck the plan is. How do we get out of this. It seems their only plan is to fundraise for the next election. I mean, yes if we hadn’t fucked up the election we wouldn’t be in this mess though at this point I’m not convinced it was a legitimate one anyway, but I also don’t see the majority of them doing anything at all!   29. Sadly america chose racism over a black woman. We can say all we want about dems needing to do better, but we had two choices for a president and majority of the vote did not put in Harris. They had their reasons but clearly we are suffering from it. 

    When blind polls asked people what policy they liked more, 75 percent chose Harris’ policy. You can say it’s a messaging issue but the one of the main messages some voters decided vote on was against a black woman. The demographic with the largest working class voting group voted Blue.
