  1. The missiles are the MBDA Aster 30, and production is not keeping up with demand. The same missile has been used a lot in the Red Sea against those Houthi drones.

    Those puppies cost 2 million euros each. We really need lower cost air defenses against drones that cost a fraction of the cost the missiles that shoot them down.

  2. Why is an MBDA product being listed as French Italian when Britain owns more of that company than Italy? 37.5% vs 25%

  3. There’s been orders for 950 missiles placed over the last year, so hopefully these will start to become available in reasonable quantity soon.

  4. Using those to counter 50K drone is not sustainable and a huge waste – even US can not sustain that.

    Some other means need to be developed, can not just ask for more and more and more.
