  4. That is really good news! Increased domestic production means much less room for american blackmail.

    Yes, still more heavy weapons are needed but considering Ukraine didn’t have much of drone production when they stopped and drove back russians back in spring/summer ’22, this is really nice

    And with the new long range missile, Long Neptune, Ukraine is advancing at astonishing rate!

  8. I was sceptical on the claim, and investigated. Its not completely true, they still use some chinese made electronics. This is not take away anything from the archievement, I just didn’t beleive Ukraine could produce a STM32 processor

  10. Thermal is impressive. It means they have the semiconductor fabrication for IR absorption. These are typically export controlled in the US even in normal times.

  14. I’m still impressed that Ukraine can apparently procure enough parts for all the drones.

    They are all standard components. But some of them certainly only come from a few manufacturers. And 100,000 flight controllers are certainly not just lying around in a warehouse.

  16. A point to remember. When this war is over, Ukraine will have the largest battle ready army in the world. They will definitely remember who their friends and enemies were. A Ukrainian military, integrated into Europe will eliminate the need for American forces.
    People have also forgotten that Ukraine was the manufacturer of tanks, rockets and aircraft for the USSR. It will be entirely appropriate for Ukraine to resume that position for the EU and NATO. In fact, dissolving the old NATO and re-constituting it without the USA-is possible. Those old facilities were in hardened underground facilities, as were many deep burial air raid shelters.
