  1. It stopped being about technology years ago and was hijacked into a medical/disabled show.

  2. Click and Hard talk is a big loss, IMO.

They were engaging programs that delved into topics where other news segments may only speak on the topic for five minutes.

It’s a shame they couldn’t become monthly shows and had their budgets reduced but ultimately saved that way.

They are both shows I used to watch on TV during quieter time periods of broadcast TV, but I appreciate how people’s media consumption has changed, and hard talk or click aren’t shows people go out of the way to watch.

  3. Used to love this show from the start. Then, as cyberspace was hijacked and ruined by the rich, this show went downhill, imho.

  4. Another programme I never watched. YouTube etc do this much better though obviously a FTA TV show is just easier for your dad to spot.

  5. How expensive could Hardtalk be? It’s just two people fucking sitting down talking.

  6. Well I have watched all the episodes over the years so will really miss it.

It started to go wrong when Lara joined(we didn’t need her look at me presenting style and Spencer was great on his own.)

LJ getting sick was a real shame and it was wonderful to see her pop up on the occasional ep.

Kate was also missed when she left.

Cies and Omar were a good watch but didn’t get enough screen time.

The recent additions didn’t improve the show and it has just meandered towards the end.

A great run probably ruined by the “higher ups.”

  7. I always really enjoyed watching Click over the years. A shame it’s gone, but sadly not surprised.

  8. Click used to be my go to here in India for everything tech. But I understand why it was axed. I had not thought about it in thr last 10 years, ever since YouTube reviews and Reddit reviews became a thing
