People. Almost 400 people crossed the channel. I would have thought the current situation in Ukraine would have improved the language we use but no.
Because P & O fucked up the crossing by screwing other people?

Since so many of the Channel crossers have their asylum applications accepted (despite the nastiness of our system and the attempts to throw their applications out on technicalities or dodgy grounds), the real scandal here should be that refugees are having to make dangerous crossings rather than having a safe route to come here.
The small boat crossings should be seen as a symptom of our own moral failings.

The sooner these crossings stop the better. It’s been a failure of this government that they have continued this long. Financially benefiting people traffickers, risking lives and making a mockery of those who follow the correct process to claim asylum/citizenship.
