I have been wondering how the US would take greenland, only option I can see is by invading but they can't as long as Greenland is in NATO, but thing is they are only in NATO because they are apart of Denmark so if they go independent then they wouldn't be apart of nato anymore then US can invade without any immediate retaliation from nato countries.

Anyone wondering if Greenlanders would do well under US rule should compare their situation with that of the indigenous population in Alaska.
