He cant keep saying he needs guarantees in public this early in the attempt for peace and keep demanding it when they are unfortunately the underdog. Everyone trying to produce peace understands that we don't want it to happen again so there will be things put in place that hopefully do that but you need to start somewhere and you cant say what you are going to do in advance because then you don't have any strength at the bargaining table. He is trying to help his country I know but if he wants help from others e needs to protect them too by keeping discussions behind closed doors and not demanding things from those trying to help.

30. The meeting was far from normal. Zelensky started the disaster by discussing negotiating topics in a public forum in front of the world press rather than during the afternoon private negotiations session when he can say whatever he wants. A mineral deal would be signed advantageous to both sides, and separate discussions on a peace agreement. What he did was a breech of protocol and highly disrespectful to Ukraine’s biggest ally that GAVE hundreds of billions of dollars and weapons free to Ukraine unlike European allies that demanded that Ukraine pay. This was really stupid behavior by Zelensky. Now Ukraine may get nothing from the U.S.

32. France & Germany need to wake up. The USA is withdrawing from Europe (at last…) and Russia’s going nowhere. Russians are Europeans. Always have been. Moscow is the largest city in Europe with cathedrals, statues and gargoyles on their buildings just like in Paris or London.

    France & Germany betrayed Russia in Minsk & Minsk 2 (Angela Merkl admitted it) and that’s why Russia invaded. Sure, France & Germany were under duress from the USA, so they chose historically – went with what worked in the 50s – Americans goodies, USSR baddies. But 2015 wasn’t 1950 it turns out … so Ukraine loses. France loses. Germany loses. Russia has also lost (many men on the battlefield), but they’ll never be conquered by Ukraine.
