I always try to support local but this is definitely one business I will remember to avoid. I would not be handing over my money to somebody who thinks it’s ok to shame or ridicule people who use mobility scooters. I hope the people of East Belfast vote with their wallets and give this place a miss from now on. I can defend somebody’s right to freedom of speech but it does not mean freedom from consequence.

They said the quiet bit out loud.
That’s it, run a takeaway that sells heart attack fuel then go online and insult people who overindulge. Savvy 😂
Most local food businesses use social media to post photos of what they sell in their shops, and it seems to work out well enough for them. Maybe this crowd should try something along those lines, because this was a massive own goal. Imagine selling baps and then having a go at your target demographic.
That’s the new style of marketing tactics unfortunately. Be an absolute cunt on social media. Gain traction even if it is negative, all of a sudden everyone is engaging with said social media. Hatefulness is the main driving force of Facebook/twitter algorithms now.
Dumb ignorant rant but here’s 30 hash tags
Rage bait nonsense
I’ve been sick as a dog this last week and thought once I felt better, I’d go this place for a treat. Guess I’ll be giving them a miss. This is just disgusting 🫣
They used #love in that vile post
Is this for real wtf
We have gone beyond the post-truth era into post-decency / post-everything.
This will drive clicks and engagement, boosting their page with the algorithm.
Few weeks down the line people wont really remember or care why but might remember enough to order it off justeat.
Thats the way the world is now. This guy is a prick. Fuck him
Place has rats as well. Been avoiding for that reason alone!
He’s right..
I don’t agree with the way this was worded in the post but I can see their point. People who are not disabled and are simply morbidly obese are taking resources from others. However, if the morbid obesity is a side effect of their disability then that’s completely different. (Yes, I know you are going to be triggered and down vote this. Work away)
Heard he’s a nazi. Same as the staff in one of the italian cafes on Cregagh.
I’ll never understand these idiot business owners who have to make their businesses political. Politicizing your business will *invariably* cost you money. Save that shit for your personal account.
So on a little stretch of the Woodstock Road you’ve these fellas, a restaurant that was a offering a cash discount of exactly the same amount as VAT, and an Italian that insists he’s not a fascist despite posing in a t shirt bearing a symbol invented by the SS.
I can see why property prices suddenly jump when you get past Ravenhill Avenue.
Have a look at the google reviews which he responds to…..no mentally stable business owner gets on like this….
What in the name of Trump is this?
You mean this cunt who encourages you to try and eat 4 baps worth for free and if you can’t you pay him £35 for the privilege?

I’m way more offended by the endless string of vague and tenuous hashtags.
I wonder what the calorie count is for the items on his menu anyway…
Ableism and fat shaming in the same post!
What a scumbag!
Why do I feel like the owner is the type of person who uses the words “woke” and “snowflake” 20 times a day while ignoring the irony that they’re the ones being offended by others .
I was going to get outraged, but paused. Any chance of a link to the original post?
We really are overstocked for some absolute dangers running businesses here. Between the Nazis and fascists alone.
Yawn. Attention seeking social media post gets attention.
