Around 20 vehicles have been damaged at a Tesla dealership on the Boucher Road in Belfast.

Police have said they received a report of damage to vehicles on a commercial premises on Sunday and believe the incident had occurred in the past 24 hours.

Sergeant Rooney said that most of the vehicles "have had their wing mirrors knocked off, while others have also had windows smashed or received dents to the bodywork".

The officer added that enquiries were ongoing "to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident".

BBC News NI have contacted Tesla for comment.

Police have appealed for witnesses or anyone with CCTV footage to contact them.

  9. If they keep this shit to the ones sitting in the dealerships, I don’t think anyone’s going to lose sleep over that. Vandalising private vehicles is absolutely not fucking on though, it sets a disgusting precident.

  10. Probably best these dealerships offload their tesla stocks at a loss if necessary or at the very least keep them in storage at night. Musk continues to do his best to destroy his own brand and it’s no surprise these incidents are happening.

    Found this to be an interesting video about all that’s going on. He covers a lot of points but one big takeaway from it I noticed was that by Musk engaging in far right politics he has allienated his consumer base and the ones that he is trying to woo don’t buy electric cars.

    Seems to confirm what we all suspected; Elon Musk isn’t smart. He’s just really wealthy.
