  2. They’re drawing lines in the sand. Courts better make use of the Marshals or they won’t have any authority at all, and Trump really will be dictator king.

  4. So, soon we’ll get to see if the Supreme Court is ready to give up the power of the Judiciary completely and make Trump a dictator or if they still want to hold on to the idea that there are 3 equal branches of government.

    There is no Congressional ability to stop this or other Trump initiatives given the lack of a majority.

    If the courts no longer have “validity”, there is no judicial ability to stop this or other Trump initiatives.

    If that’s the case, what do we do? What actions come next?

  20. As I have said many times before with Trump in power the rule of law has ended in the US. Someone has to step in and return the country to the rule of power with force if necessary. Trump should be in prison just for this alone.

  21. More and more obvious that the whole “co-equal branches of government” was nothing more than a gentleman’s agreement.

    Only one branch has any teeth and we have an executive branch that does not care for norms or agreements.

    Seems probable to me that even if congress came to their senses and impeached Trump that he wouldn’t accept it and what could they do about it?

  24. One (among many) crazy things about invoking Alien Enemies is that the bypass of due process is predicated on it being easily identified if someone is an invading soldier. How the hell will they identify a TDA gang member? Do they carry a passport from their gang? They can arbitrarily label anyone a TDA terrorist, and because the law bypasses a hearing, just shuttle them out.

  25. I hope he gets civil contempt, which isnt pardonable, and is charged personally $1000 a day till he flies those prisoners back for a proper hearing.

    So… providing we actually do have elections again and providing we have a Democrat president and maybe a Dem Congress

    Then… the statute of limitations is in effect? Meaning we could have the equivalent of the Nuremburg Trials? Place all these people on trial?

    ha, who am I kidding, there wont be any more elections, these people basically are the law.
