How much manpower (combined EU military) would it need so peacekeeping can be accomplished longterm along a 1 thousand kilometer frontline/buffer zone?
200 – 300k NATO standard trained ground troops, dozens of garrisons from which patrols/observations happen?
While this is admirable from the Brits, it is downright err… cute.
The Brits currently have more admirals than navy ships of war.
They also have more horses than main battle tanks.
Deter from what? They’re already in Ukraine.
Either put boots on the ground or stop talking peacekeepers.
And are the wealthy of Britain going to help pay for this or is to be just the poor of Britain.
I keep reading about the deployment of EU troops in Ukraine, i mean I do not see this happening unless they join the Ukrainian army. How do you think Putin could ever accept Eu troops over a deal he is supposed to sign?
