Guys I need some help figuring out this letter. I honestly don’t understand more than half of it. I understand the big picture but not the details.
What would you do in this case?
Thank you ahead.

Have you tried using the Google (Translate)?

you got fined for speeding – second page is for when another driver and not the registered owner of the vehicle was driving
Bottom line:
You were caught speeding and will be not so politely asked to take a hike instead of driving.

good luck
They want the information of whoever committed this delict.
You will pay around 400.- or more for speeding that much, and I hope this wasn’t in a construction zone, because the speeding rules there are even harsher.

You were so much over the speed limit, it won’t be just a fine, which would be issued without further details. The police is asking who was driving the car at the time, because the person will be prosecuted and lose their license for at least a month.
Your car was recorded driving about 30 km/h above the speed limit and now you need to provide the details of the person who drove the vehicle at that time.
It will go to court and the penalty will be determined based on the person’s previous records. I would calculate with a minimum of CHF 1000 and maybe way more depending on the driver’s income (nor sure about that). Could even result in permanent or temporary loss of driving license.
If you have a “rechtsschutz” insurance they’ll maybe cover the administration fees of the court.
As the owner of the car, you‘re obliged to provide the details of the driver which caused the traffic violation. Since 26 km/h can‘t be paid with a regular fine („Ordnungsbusse“) they need to know more. Check the „Rechtliche Informationen“…if someone of your family drove, you don‘t need to tell anything…
You can try to remain silent and don‘t comply but in my opinion it‘s better to accept your faith and learn something from it for the future!
tl;dr: the brake pedal is the one in the middle.
The brakes can be activated by pressing the second pedal from the right
First time over 25 km/h speeder? If so: Lean back, relax and just wait. Within a couple of weeks you will receive two official letters:
* A note from the Zurich DMV that states your registration into their culprit database as “warned driver” for the next two years. Administrative fees to be expected are about CHF 400.
* A penalty order from the local DA in charge for violating the Traffic Law. Expect a penalty of about CHF 700 to 1k.
You are entitled to contest those decisions in court. But honestly, just pay the fines and stop driving too fast in future.
ist das Entlisberg Tunnel ?
Hahaha!
Thanks.
Now I know I can safely drive at 124 kph gps speed. 😉
There’s a high probability your license is being taken away. You can google this. I think above 20-24 on highway is your license is taken away and depending the canton (I think) they calculate your fine on your taxes but again google is your friend or call your legal insurance. This is easy enough to find out. Best of luck

By 1 kmh you are in the ‘leichte Widerhandlung’ territory for Autobahn (>25kmh too fast). I would expect a low to medium four digit amount in fines and fees. Maybe you’re lucky and it won’t go beyond that. If this isn’t the first time, you can likely expect more.
For the form: They basically want to know who drove the car at that time and, if they don’t get a response, they’ll pull whatever info they have on the person who is the registered owner and go after them.
And now for the obligatory ‘going 110 in an 80?! What’s wrong with you’
maybe they will even ask you for drivers salary and tell you X amount of days of work as penalty
3 months bye bye driving

What
You were speeding criminally high and will now be prosecuted for it, resulting in loss of license for a while and high fees.
It would be best if you got a translator involved because you will receive more important mail on this.
A word of wisdom: keep to the speed limit. The miniscule time gain you get from speeding isn’t worth the risk to you and others.

Deny it. Dont admit/pay anything yet. They have to proove beyond reasonable doubt that it was indeed you driving the car. You dont even need to tell them who was driving it. Its enough to just say it wasnt you.
However, if the driver is not known (as in you forget who was driving) or is possibly a direct family member you are not required to give up their name to the police.
In that case you would pay the fine and costs – but potentially with no loss of licence or probation period
You’re fucked. Bigtime.
just send the picture to chat gbt and you’ll get all the infos you need… i dont get how people still ask translation questions here😂
That part of the road is clearly marked as 80 zone. They have also construction works there, so they have also moved the 80 zone even further.
You were a smartass, and this is the result.
Uff 26? Tahts gonna be 500.- or more Plus a 2 year warning
hesch umegfiggt und jetz isch halt zrugg gfiggt worde. FAFO. what goes around comes around.
i hope you never get access to motorized vehicles again
SBB wants to sell a GA..
EDIT for those telling me where the brakes pedal is, I know where it is, been driving for 17 years with not even a parking ticket until this incident. Im sure you’re all aware of the stress culture in this country when the driver behind you drives so closely and you start to get stressed. I’m not one of those with those supercars that regularly drive 150 like it’s germany here. I know I’ve done a mistake here and am gonna own it. Chill
