2. Jesus, this sound like the plot of a horror movie. I’d be worried about this guy chopping a hole in a door with an axe and yelling “here’s Johnny!” through it.

3. During Covid my twinky Egyptian roommate incurred the wrath of my beefy Kenyan roommate who tried to throw him out a window; so I’d imagine interpersonal dynamics out there completely isolated can get pretty crazy

4. Sounds horrible, but also it doesn’t make sense as it’s currently summer in the southern hemisphere, and Antartica only stops having planes/boats arrive during its winter season. The article doesn’t state why they are trapped from what I could find.

5. This article does not include the most important information. This issue was apparently raised while the ship that brought them there, the SA Agulhas II, was still at the base. Nothing was done, and it has now left, leaving them trapped in this situation.
