Am I stuck in a continuous time loop or something? Seems like there’s been only 7 days left for the past year.

  1. I can imagine in 10 years time, the referral fee will be €1,000.

They must be spending massive money on customer acquisition. It used to be €10.

  2. The problem is I literally know nobody in my wide circle of friends or family, both home and abroad that does not have Revolut. It’s also now beginning to take off in the States and Canada and displacing the likes of Venmo which have been around for years.

So even if I wanted to spam people with referral links I literally don’t know anyone who I could…

  3. If you do refer someone you’ll work out what they actually mean – the 7days is how long someone has to complete their terms once you’ve referred them before you actually get anything for it, if they don’t set up the account and make 3 substantial purchases in that time you get nothing for referring them.

  4. I referred a friend and he did all the steps, but because his 3rd purchase took place the same day it expires, he didn’t qualify, so neither of us got it. A few hours later we both get notified of this same message again. 7 days etc. It’s for this reason Ive lost a lot of faith in them as a brand

  5. It is like some closing down sales seem to last longer than the time the shop had been open up to the point the sale started.

  6. I use N26 and Bunq. Prefer to keep my purchases to be limited to the EU entities when either possible or just simply convenient.

  7. That ad does my head in. Revolut would be better working on fixing why it takes a week for money to go to their account from a business, even Ulster Bank only takes 2 days.

  8. Worked for me. I got a friend abroad to sign up last week, make purchases, order the card. Revolut automatically added €60 to my account. I split the €30 evenly with my mate. I was surprised it worked so easily tbh but I don’t know anyone else not on Revolut.
