It’s crazy to think of all the videos we see on here of people being gunned down and blown up in their final moment each one had a child hood had friends was a son a husband or boyfriend had a life had hobbies had a story im tired of seeing all this stuff anymore it’s just crazy to think soldiers are people

  18. It still is wild to me how normal these videos of the end of someone’s life is.. Even if he’s an invader he still had a life and thought like every single one of us on thread. I’m so tired of this.

  21. Crazy how saving private ryan got the special effects right. In an urban combat where concrete dusts are all over everything, a bullet hitting a body would create that dust puff.

  23. Dude was pretty much death bound but at least he could have done some real good by expending his bullets in his command that so lustfully sends him into the meat grinder. But he chose to perish for nothing and die an utter fool instead. What a waste, what a disgrace…

  24. I find it fascinating seeing this footage.

    When you watch the old war movies from the 50’s – 60’s when shot the actors would freeze up and collapse on the floor. It looked super fake and silly to me, especially when compared to the stunts modern films pull off with people getting shot.

    Then it hit me, those old movies were made by people that survived some serious fucking wars. (WW2, Korea). They knew what happens when people get domed. The body tenses up in a way not possible for a conscious healthy body can. They were mimicking real life.

    Now we come full circle, getting 4k drone footage of soldiers getting domed, and the truth is modern Hollywood cinemas lie about death, it’s not some glorious instant kill. It’s ripping a violent tunnel through living organisms resulting in a whole manner of central nervous system spasms before eventual death.

    I look at the modern movies like John Wick etc and just shake my head at the complete fabrication of the effects of weaponry. It’s horrifically fake to the point it’s outright lying to you how fucking horrific a bullet is.
