U.S. National Security Advisor Mike Waltz stated on March 16 that Ukraine will receive unspecified security guarantees in exchange for unspecified territorial concessions. Senior Kremlin officials, have consistently demanded that Ukraine surrender the entirety of eastern and southern Ukraine.

  1. Russia annexing all that red is a death sentence for Moldova

  2. There’s not a chance in hell Ukraine forfeits Kherson, let alone Odesa.

  3. Hey Waltz, let me get you a spoon, so you can EAT MY ASS.

  4. Classic russian bargain tactics. Push for impossible to get results and get what they expected to get

  5. The USA carve up is just beginning. I really hope Europe tells this bonkers alliance to fuck off. It has to as this is the start of WW3. All that is needed is to arm Ukraine to the teeth and show the Russian bully a bloody nose. Trump choses empire, death and destruction.

  6. Sure, make Zelenskyy’s hometown a part of Russia. That’ll never happen.

  7. So what they coulnd’t take by force, they’re now asking Trump to just give it to them?

  8. You could certainly describe a set of security gurantees and territorial concessions to which Ukraine would agree. You could describe a set to which Russia would agree.

Announcing that there will be unspecified gurantees and concessions is *almost* completely vacuous. The one piece of information this announcement carries is in its imperious tone: the United States is going to say how this is going to go.

Well, maybe. The U.S. does have a lot of weight to throw around. Then again, they’ve also found plenty of times in the past that they don’t actually get to decide what everyone else in the world does.

  9. Another delicious complete non-starter of a dog shit sandwich idea!

(I don’t believe any of the trump admin “peace” deals are serious. I do think they’re infowar/distraction wedges.)

  10. The U.S. has already reneged on the Budapest Memorandum. That fact, coupled with the compromised current administration, any U.S. security guarantees wouldn’t be backed by anything other than a “trust me, bro.” Not even worth the paper they’d be written on.

  11. They forgot to take their pills again. The entire population of russia is not enough to conquer that much

  12. They’ll have a never-ending insurgency. Fuck russia and fuck trump.

  13. I mean unless it’s physical troops on the ground and statements signed in blood saying anything Russian will be shot down, destroyed etc etc

I’m not sure I take this deal, I mean it’s just incredible that Russia gains so much for clearly losing so much.

    What a twisted timeline

  14. Will never happen. Zelensky already said thats a redline. It seems zhe Us dogshit gov doesnt understand „NO“

  15. I cannot see why ukraine would sign anything with the USA at this point in time, let alone something as awful as what the picture suggests. I hope we (europe, the free world etc.) can pay the bills while america and russia finish imploding. I just find it tragic that ukraine has to carry the fight by herself a while longer.

  16. The 1,900 strategic nuclear warheads, 176 intercontinental ballistic missiles, thousands of tactical nukes, and 44 strategic bombers Ukraine gave up in order to prevent this were extremely specific.

Ukraine is getting cheated. You and can do something about it. Donate directly to Ukraine’s armed forces right now at https://u24.gov.ua/

  17. Sweet Jesus! USA & Russia’s security guarantees are worthless anyway. Fucking Krasnov.

EDIT: added more from replies, thanks!

  19. Wouldn’t be surprised if this is also what the US wants.

  20. Why the fuck would Ukraine agree to this? They’d have to be told that the US will not only stop helping but will start sending equipment to Russia and even troops to fight Ukrainians. This is absolutely ridiculous!

  21. USA is just Russia bitch now. Basically Belarus 2.0, Americans got to accept this or change this, and I’m not talking about waiting mid term with that orange twizzler.

  22. Whatever “guarantees” Trump promises, how many days after the ink is wet will Trump get on TV announcing “That was a bad deal, a crappy deal” and therefore announce the “guarantees” are no more?

You cannot strike deals with shysters!

  23. Since Feb 22 the russians have failed to take a single regional capital, other than Kherson temporarily, including Kharkiv that’s just 25km from the border. Yet they keep demanding Ukraine surrender Zaporizhia and Kherson just cause they wrote it on the useless piece of paper they call the russian constitution that changes every time putin feels like it. With bridges over Dnipro blown out, they can have fun assaulting over 500m of river with thousands of drones coming down on them.

  24. Fuck Russia, fuck Trump and time for those countries actually supporting Ukraine to send in troops and arms and use those arms fully and with no constraints!

  25. I’m pretty sure Transnistria would just be made a district of Odesa if it did become annexed by Russia.

  26. And Moldova is next, then Lithuania, then Estonia and Latvia to connect other parts with main land Russia.

    Then Belarus

Then rest of Ukraine because it was made so that it did not have any army anymore and a puppet government in favor of Russia.

Then Gotland from Sweden will be a target to control the waters in front of the baltics and control the sea towards Finland and rest of Sweden.

Romania and Bulgarian getting denied access through Black Sea because Russia see it as its own territory. They may use Black Sea if only they give up al coastal areas and only traverse by rivers (for a year or so)

You can just predict all the land grab based on geography

Edit: getting Gotland is key to limit NATO transportation to Finland and setting up an old fashioned siege.

  27. American security guarantees are worth nothing. I am confident that Ukraine knows this.

  28. Zero chance that Ukraine is going just hand over major cities that Russia couldn’t capture in 3+ years of war. Whatever Russia is “demanding” is irrelevant posturing.
