I got this fiber modem + bbox combo a couple of days ago. I'm with mobile vikings but the installation is done by proximus.
Connecting my pc directly to the fiber modem obviously doesn't work so it seems I need to connt to the bbox? Somehow proximus found it funny to invent a version of this box that is wall-mounted with the pirts facing the wall…
Am I missing something?

Yes, you can take it off the wall mount
that bracket is detachable, you can unhook modem add lancables and hook it back. There should be enough space to route cables without damaging.
Piggybacking off of this: if I’m with Proximus and want to change to Mobile Vikings, do I just keep my router? No installation process is required?
Unmount it , I did the same with my router.
