  33. I call it creating a pretext for Russia to reclaim back Kursk and destroying Ukraine’s strongest leverage in negotiations. Aid and intelligence sharing to Ukraine was halted as a consequence of Zelensky’s visit in the Oval Office. And suddenly the Russians were awfully knowledgable about Ukrainian positions (troops, ammo depots etc). Now that the Russians are in control of Kursk again, the US has resumed aid and intelligence sharing again. The goal was not only to make Ukraine look weak, but weaken their position in future negotiations.
