  1. Honestly, based Pierre. The attitude towards ameritards should be strived for

  2. To be fair, the Germans have a longer tradition to help people get on trains. We can’t compete 🤭

  3. Go! Straight! And! Turn! Right! Go, go go! Go your way! Believe yourself!

    YOU ARE WELCOME!

  4. Nowadays Hans will even answer in English if you ask “Wo ist der Bahnhof?”

  5. Pierre understood the question, he just didn’t want to speak english.

Not even a joke, living in a big tourist zone, my level of English is directly related to how the tourist approach me :

“Bonjour Monsieur, parlez vous Anglais s’il vous plaît ?” = I will gladly help them in english.

“Guy who talk to me in english from the start” = I’m the guy in the même.

  6. Unless you’re in Brandenburg Airport’s security check, and a it’s a huge Hans Lady screaming at you in German.

  7. Hans can tell you where the train station is, but the trains are a different matter. Germany has some of the worst service I have experienced.

  8. Not quite to be honest.
Some germans will not speak english with you even if they can speak it.
For them it’s another way to say: “Lern Deutsch du Hurensohn!”

  9. “I want to practice my German. Can you please stop speaking English?”
    Nope. English it is!

  10. Nah, anyone south of berlin doesn’t know how to speak english. Except if you’re in the mediterranean where waiters will respond to you in perfect english even when you’re attempting to speak the local language thus degrading your experience as a tourist

  11. That’s nice and all, but Jan would probably switch to your mother language.

  12. pierre wouldn’t apologize, he’d spit on you

  13. And then there’s the Portuguese way:

“Segue segue segue… vai ter uma rotunda. Não vira na primeira, não vira na segunda, vai reto! RETO!

E segue segue segue segue… e depois vira, não, segue segue segue!”

  14. Mamma Mia the Luigi’s are not coping well with the recent Francophile shift on here 😂

  15. German instructions weren’t needlessly complicated enough.

  16. As someone that’s lived in Germany for 7 years this is extremely stretching the truth, most Germans, despite claiming so, cannot speak good English. Especially outside the 25ish age range.

They learn it very well I school but unless they use it regularly they forget it all. All TV is dubbed so they don’t hold on to the listening and unless they do it for work or play they don’t use English, naturally.

They will however claim to be proficient and when they start it’s a fucking hassle to understand them and at best it’s Denglish. I always end up switching to German to save their feelings.

  17. Not 100% accurate.

Hans: Take a Car you will be faster and don’t need to stay in the rain for 24h till you trin could maybe arrive if the stars and the moon stand in the correct constalation, no one knows these constalation, so good luck have fun and rent a car.

  18. I advise every Barry in Paris to push their accent as far they can or annonce you are english in your sentence.
Because I’m waiting to wish to the first american I meet to go to hell or to Russia
