  1. This is how Trump supporters should be treated everywhere they go until the end of time.

  2. Their account on X/Twitter was disabled yesterday on St. Patrick’s Day.

  3. How did the persons political affiliation become known at a concert?

  4. That’s the one thing that still fascinates me. Like 99% of punk bands are against big government and shitty politics. The MAGA people (and yes others as well) are so delusional when they all of a suddenly find out that bands like RATM , Dropkick, Green Day, and bad religion (along with SEVERAL others) are against their political views and make a hissy fit about it. Like dude, have you ever listened to lyrics before?

  5. Follow them on BlueSky. The app is weird and takes some getting used to. It reminds me of early day Twitter before Twitter went … Xtreme.

  6. The red hats pissy about this are the same ones cheering for Kid Rock.

  7. Love that we are finally getting back to the roots of punk!

  8. My favorite band doing my favorite things, being loud, proud, and anti-Nazi.

  9. And then they get a ban on Twitter cause…. You know… Free speech

  10. They’re the best example of why politicians are so against supporting mental health wellness, they’d lose majority of their base if they ever got well. They genuinely believe they are a part of counter culture while they simp for billionaires and corrupt politicians.

    > *If you can convince the lowest white man he’s better than the best colored man, he won’t notice you’re picking his pocket. Hell, give him somebody to look down on, and he’ll empty his pockets for you*. – Lyndon B.

    > *One of the saddest lessons of history is this: If we’ve been bamboozled long enough, we tend to reject any evidence of the bamboozle. We’re no longer interested in finding out the truth. The bamboozle has captured us. It’s simply too painful to acknowledge, even to ourselves, that we’ve been taken. Once you give a charlatan power over you, you almost never get it back*. – Carl Sagan

  11. The alt-right mistakenly think they are rebels and that the “liberal deep state” is the establishment that bands like these rail against. They aren’t the brightest bulbs in the box.

  12. It amazes me that a MAGA supporter would even be into the Dropkick Murphys, much less feel that going to their concert was a good idea. In fucking Boston, no less.

  13. nazi punks
    nazi punks
    nazi punks
    FUCK OFF!

(Different band, but the point stands)

  14. You must be a fucking vegetable to be at a punk show with MAGA gear on.

  15. Conservatism is by definition not counter-culture. The entire idea of conservatism is maintaining the status quo and if change happens, to do it very slowly.

They will never fit in the punk scene like they want to.

  16. What did they expect honestly. I’ve been to a concert they have no problem calling out poor behavior. They had to stop the concert for a bit since someone needed medical attention and the band thanked the audience members who were patient and understanding and called out anyone who was being shitty

  17. They should team up with Alestorm and make a song called “Fuck Trump with an Anchor in Boston”
