According to Nomad Passport Index 2022, Nearly 85% of the 30 most powerful passports in the world are in Europe. “While many passport rankings focus solely on visa-free travel, this index adds taxation, global perception, ability to obtain dual citizenship, and personal freedoms into its scoring.”

  2. Oddly enough the Irish one became a bit more powerful after Brexit and very sought after by both British people and mainland continentals.

Visa free access to both the UK and EU.

  3. Surprised that Estonia is missing.

Overall an interesting index but I find the “global perception” category a bit too subjective.
